The US3881UA Series is a Low
Voltage Hall IC Latch, offered in four temperature selections as
indicated below. The output transistor will "latch on" (BOP)
in the presence of a sufficiently
strong South Pole magnetic field, and remain latched until a sufficiently
strong North Pole magnetic field is applied, at which point it will
"latch off"(BRP). The US3881UA Series is the only low voltage
Hall IC of its kind, with an operating voltage of 2.2
Volts. Performance is similar to that of the US1881UA Series,
except for the low VDD. This device is ideal for 3 Volt applications
such as laptop PCs and cellular telephones. The tables below illustrate
specifications and limits for this device.
